Modern Plumbing & Heating Ltd
Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and local storage used by the MPH website. Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information held in your browser; they serve different purposes and can have different lifetimes.
Appearance preference
When you select light or dark mode, the website stores your choice in local storage under the name mph-theme. It is used to remember your selected appearance on later visits. It has no set expiry in the website code and remains until it is changed or your browser clears site data. If no preference is saved, the website follows your device’s appearance setting.
Administrator session
The mph_session cookie is set when an authorised administrator signs in. It keeps the administrator signed in and is not needed simply to browse the public website. It expires after eight hours and is removed when the administrator signs out.
Analytics and advertising
The current website implementation does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Links to external websites may lead to services with their own cookie and privacy practices, which you should review separately.
Your controls
You can remove cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing the appearance preference resets the theme choice; blocking or deleting the administrator cookie affects sign-in. Browser controls for cookies and local storage may be separate. For information about personal information sent through our forms, read our Privacy Policy.
